Setinggi ruang angkasa harapan kita, seluas alam semesta persoalan kita

Kenapelah saye ni banyak mulut ye?

Kan dah semua orang bengang.

Rasa nak teguk je minyak masak sebotol kat tepi dapur tu.

Kalau betullah nanti kita takde cuti pasal aku terlepas bagitau pasal bende tuh, aku mintak maaf la banyak-banyak. aku cuma nak tanya je. tak sangka pulak terlepas mulut. kalau korang tanak maafkan aku pun takpelah. aku paham. dah terlalu banyak silap aku buat kat korang.

Aku memang banyak mulut.

Tapi aku pun nak balik malaysia!!!

walk like a man, talk like a man, walk like a man my son.

Today i learnt something when i was walking to school.

Living is like walking. Always know where you're going. Always look forward, but don't forget to look down, because you might step on shit, and look up to the skies once in a while, to be prepared for whatever weather that lies ahead. From time to time, look left and right to enjoy the view, enjoy life, and once in a while, look to your back, to see how far you've walked and to see if you've left someone behind. If it rains or snows too heavily that you can't see a thing, don't stop, keep on walking, let your insticts guide you, and find a shelter as soon as possible, or you'd be lost in the storm. You can always dream and let your thoughts drift away when you walk, but always come back to the real world, so that you're still on the right path. Walking with friends is fun, but walking alone once in a while helps you to find yourself. And the most important thing is, never walk without anywhere to go in mind. Your walk would be a waste.

Aiyah. I miss this song lah.

Senyum seindah suria,
yang membawa cahaya,
senyumlah dari hati,
duniamu berseri,
senyum umpama titian,
dalam kehidupan,
ku tersenyum,
kau tersenyum,
kemesraan menguntum.

Senyum, kepada semua,
senyumanmu amatlah berharga,
senyum, membahagiakan,
dengan senyuman, terjalinlah ikatan.

Mak ngan bapak balik hari ni. Bolehla tanya pasal tiket.

'Taufiq, kami sedang menjalankan ujian lisan. Cepat. Saya mahu kamu bercakap tentang situasi ekonomi Perancis', ujarnya dengan wajah serius. Taufiq yang masih terpinga-pinga, terdiam terpaku. Nicole kemudiannya berkata 'Oh, kamu terlalu lambat. Tiada markah untuk kamu. Kimi, apakah warna bendera Perancis?'. Saya pun menjawab ' Biru, Merah dan Putih'. Nicole membalas 'Bagus. Markah penuh untuk kamu. Taufiq, saya bagi kamu satu lagi peluang. Ayuh, situasi ekonomi Perancis'.

Semoga tuhan membalas perbuatan mereka. Di Champs de Mars pula, kami bermain kejar-kejaran. Setelah agak penat, kami kembali ke pawagam. Filem tersebut tamat pada jam 12.30 malam. Seronok juga keluar malam bersama kawan-kawan sekali-sekala. Sesudah solat isya', saya pun tidur.

rhum and coca cola

aihh. i'm having a craving for coca cola right now. it's all because of arielle dombasle's song 'rhum and coca-cola'. luckily i dont crave for the rhum.

i know it'll be hard for us when we leave our teachers in july. but it'll be harder for us when a teacher leaves us in june. especially when she doesn't know that we know. it's hard for us right now to have her classes and not to think the fact that she'll be leaving us in a few months. today, when she sat in the seat next to me, i saw her looking at us, smiling. the look that i saw in her face was as if to say, 'i'll miss them'. aihh, she hasn't left us yet, and we're already feeling sad.

today we watched an old film based on a french fairy tale 'peau d'ane'. It was a stupid movie. I mean, i have to say, the effects that they had was really good for a 60's film. But I can never accept the strory. A king, wife dead, wants to marry her daughter, fairy advised no, fairy send the princess to a village, princess met a prince, got married, king came to the marriage, with the fairy as his queen. I mean how lame is that? And there was this part when the princess walk with a slow motion effect for about 5 minutes. Come on la! nak dramatik pun, tak payah la sampai lima minit. And the ending was really unacceptable. The story was supposed to be in the middle ages, but how can the king and the fairy come to the wedding in a helicopter. Aaaaarrrghhh. Tak boleh terima!!!!

Eh you people who read my blog! If I say france, what city comes in mind? reply please. Shoutbox or anywhere. Besides Paris of course.

Bonne Annee (Chinoise et Musulmane)

Not in the picture: Brian and Nicole. The two girls are Giovanna's daughters. Posted by Hello

Happy Chinese New Year and Selamat Menyambut Maal Hijrah. We had lunch with our french profs today. I woke up at 7.30, and went straight to work. I made Roti Sardin (again) and also Popia Goreng. Nothing much to say about the roti sardin, but it was the first time i've ever made popia. I mean, i don't eat popia because one of the stuffings is carrot, and i don't like raw carrots. But i don't think my popia was nice. First, i didn't use real sengkuang, but a canned sengkuang, then there were no some sort of kacang that gives the taste ( you can always substitute it with bawang goreng, but i didn't have it either).

Nicole came to fetch our dishes and i had the chance to go with her in her car. Dinie and Fifi made some gulai danging and gulai labu, taufiq 'fried' some jemput-jemput, ustaz and khairul made some rendang, awad and irfan TRIED to make some ice-cream goreng, but tak jadi. The real chefs have got to be toh and brian, each made more than 2 types of dishes; 2 types of nasi goreng, vege, 2/3 types of chicken, and a dessert. I like Brian's ayam madu or something. I think i ate half of what he made.

The profs kept on praising us. And i would too. I mean, it's not easy to have 10 boys who can cook. And who said guys can't cook? Bravo les gars!

...

This is a song written to help the victims of the tsunami. A very meaningful song i must say, but pardon me for the bad translation

A thunder of laughter in the rocks
Two lovers splashing in the water
The sky joins the saltwater
A woman who weaves a basket
A young child on the beach
building his castle
I was the woman in sari

The fisherman throwing a net
I was the scenery in a postcard
And then…
And then the earth sends in the mud
And then the earth trembles
And then the sea cried and stood up
And then the sea, and then the sea…
And then the world, drenched in tears
And then the world became so small
A few seconds too long
A few seconds and it ended
The star of the sea looked up to the sky

And saw the earth turns around
Can we get back all that is lost?
The star of the sky looked down to the sea
The one that overshadowed the sun
But she doesn’t see it the same way again
I am the sari on the beach
A child looking for a hand to reach

A hole in a book of sceneries
And then the earth, who needs to revive
And then the earth struggles to live
The sea stepped back silently
Only the bitterness of the salt stayed
And then the earth, silenced, everywhere
And then the earth, with a beating heart
And then the world cried and stood up
Here and there, with a single voice
To be there
Putting a stone, on top of another
Even a little
Even a small step
A wooden house
A wooden bridge
To be there
To learn to walk again
To believe to see the sunlight again
To see the horizon, to give a hand
And then the earth riddled by the stars
And then the earth needs to bloom again
And then the world with a beating heart
The echo of laughter in the rocks
Two lovers, with open arms
The sky joins the saltwater
And then the love that will grow
And then the earth riddled by the stars
And then the earth who needs to smile
And then the love that will grow
The memories in the rocks
Two lovers, became three
The night joins the coming days

Gile ah. Susahnya nak tulis lirik lagu montaj A Prendre ou A Laisser. Yesterday's candidate sold her box of 500 000 euros for only 60 000. Kesian kesian.

This is the only game show i've evr known that doesn't need one to be intelligent, sportive or even lucky. It's just some how unique. You get your box at the beginnig of the programme, they call you, you open up everyone's box one by one, and the bank will offer you some money to buy your box. It's either you sell your box for something that's more than it's worth or something less. And that's it.

As soon as we arrived, the instructors were already there, which is very unusal of them. They told us that we were going up another tele-siege, but higher. I told myself 'i'll regret if i go. i'll regret if i stay down here. what the heck, just go'. When i was on the tele-siege i mutterd 'Oh mon dieu' continuously. The guy beside me gave me a oh-my-god-stop-muttering-that-or-i'll-get-nervous-as-well kind of look. Understood. I stopped.

When we reached up there, they told us we were going to go down a blue piste. But when we turned, i saw a red signboard. Damn liars. The first few slopes were fine, but the last one was too steep for me. I fell and couldn't get up. I started to think about 'bende mengarut'. What if i slip and fall. What if i die. What if... So i told the instructor that i coulnd't do it. And he asked me to unleash my ski and walk down the slope. Half way down i saw the other group taking another tele-siege. My group was waiting for me. I have this feeling that we're not going to the same piste with the other group. And i know some of us will be dissappointed for not being able to go to another red piste. I'm very sorry. When we took another tele-siege to a blue piste, i offered to wait there, while they go to another red piste, and i'll join them back when they got back there. But the instructor said no. Mintak maaf lah banyak-banyak ye. So we went down the blue piste. It was cool. I managed to make an 's' slide down and not straight to the bottom of the slope. I fell a few times, but it was worth it. I really enjoyed the piste. When did the same piste again, and then we went up the first slope that we did the first day. And suddenly it didn't look as hard as it was before. When we reached down the slope, it was time to say goodbye to the instructor. And it was the end of our skiing adventure. We returned our skis right after that.

After lunch, i took a walk behind our hotel, laid down on a soft snow bed and looked at the sky. I closed my eyes, and i had a flashback of my life. The stupid thing's i've done, the laughs that i had, the sweet thing that happened, the tears that i cried and the pain that i felt. I opened my eyes and saw a flock of birds flying above me. It was then i realised how beautiful the world is. How blue the sky is. How God created everything with perfection. How everything and everyone serves a purpose in life. Everything and everyone has his own role. And I'm yet to find my role. Ya Allah tunjukkanlah aku jalan yang benar, jalan yang Kau redhai.

La vertige qui revient...

Today's Brian's birthday. Happy 19th b'day!. And yesteday was Izzah's. Happy birthday to you too. Let's see who else... Lutfi on the 20th and Patricia's somewhere down the road. Happy birthday to you guys. Let me finish with this first. Lela's on the 27th last month. Selamat Hari Jadi. Happy birthday to Maria as well.

Ok. Enough with the birthday wishes. Today i'm very proud of myself. I didn't fall at all. Ok once. But that was because some kid pushed me while he was getting off the tirefesse. After a few ups-and-downs with the tirefesse, the instructor asked us to follow him to the tele-siege. The cable-car thingy but instead of having a cabin, you have a seat. The tele-siege was right above a very steep piste. I knew i couldn't do it. I don't want to go up there and not coming down. I don't want to go up there and creating trouble for the others. But half of me said 'what the heck, let's go up'. I know my limits. I can't even climb more than 3 steps on a ladder. So i stayed alone down there. After a few minutes, i look back at the piste and i saw someone fell. Must be them i thought. Then there's another one. And after 5 minutes, 2 paramedics were on the way up with 2 'pengusung'. I was like... Sh*t. Sape lah yang patah kaki ni. But i didn't dare to know, so i went up the tirefesse again and again. I was getting bored with it. 7 times up and sown the same slope. So lame. I should've gone up there. Aiyaa. When the class ended, everyone was fit as a fiddle. So i asked them which piste did they go to. They said they went to a blue one, next to the red one ( the very steep one). Phewh. So the 2 injured were not them. And when they told me how cool was it, i just said to myself 'waaaaaa....'. Takpe. Besok ade lagi.

Nothing much happened during lunch. Not until when it came to dessert time. At first the waitress came with some tiramisu. Nicole's tiramisu is the best (maybe because it's the only tiramisu i've ever tasted. but it's really really nice). Anyway, Dinie, Ustat, Hadi and David have already gotten theirs when Martine whispered something to the waitress. Then the waitress made a surprised face, as if to say ' oh really? ooops'. When i saw her face i thought ' ni mesti tiramisu yang ada alkohol'. So i told ustat and dinie to stop eating. But they were already half way through their dessert. And Dinie was having a big piece in his mouth. They stopped eating and dinie went to the toilet to throw away whatever was in his mouth. When he was away, there was a rumour saying that we're having another cake since it's Brian's birthday. But then Mme Blaise looked quite worried and was seen talking seriously to the waitress. So i still think it's because the tiramisu has alcohol inside. Went dinie got back, i don't know how, he continued eating it, and some of us was like ' Dinie!!! jangan makan' and he panicked and went back to the toilet. Then someone confirmed that there was no alcohol inside. When dinie got back we told him ' makanlah, takde pape'. Kesian dier, terpaksa membuang 2 kali tiramisu yang sedap.

The cake arrived. It was a huge-square-orange cake. And the decorations were not even, meaning the were parts with nuts, parts with fruits, and some parts without anything. So when we got our portion, some were not satisfied. I even knew someone who 'curi' his neighbour's fruit (i know the sentence sounds weird).

Happy birthday Brian!
