I just realise France's lack of commercialism, the most interesting branch of capitalism for us mere consumers (this from someone who calls himself a socialist?). Everything has to be boring. A shopping complex in Malaysia is 10 times more exciting than one in France. Name me one centre commercial that can compete with say.... Subang Parade. None.
