God is Great

Started our mechanics class with Voltolini today. He's not the kind of person that i had in mind. I imagined of someone who is 40 plus... in short just like our maths teachers... M. Balcer and M. Lang. But he was not. He was more like those posh old englishman who might collapse at any moment. He wore a full suite complete with tie. Even M. Blaise doesn't wear like that.

His subject was quite interesting. And i think i'll enjoy the subject. At least the facts, if not the calculating part. He teached us just like the way our secondary teachers teached us. An OHP with some transparences. He turns on the OHP, explained some stuff while covering the other part with a sheet of paper so that we only read what he's teaching, and then says 'now you can take your notes'.

He showed us some awesome slides about space and galaxies. And when he explaines, i was like... how small are we in this universe. How great is the power of God to create all this things and look at how beautiful they are. And imagine how perfect everything is. Had He created gravity slighly stronger or weaker, everything will change. And i was very amazed at Einstein's theory of relativity. Okay, answer this question: If there's a fly in a train, and it flies forward at 60 km/h and the train moves at the same speed, will it fly forward, or backwards, or will it stay at the same spot?

Very happy today. Managed to relink the broken link. Will it last, or was it only for that moment, we'll see...
