I'm feeling whelmed. Just whelmed.

Last Monday we had a meeting with our student adviser in Paris. Glad to see that Brian is still very much alive. Almost everyone was there. Each of us had an individual session with her and I didn't really mind that since I had nothing to hide or worry about. Plus, it was a paid trip to Paris.

I didn't ask much during the session. I was told that we'll be getting a balik-rumah-for-good allowance, and that my allowances would stop in July. I asked if I could start working as early as June and substitute my internship or at least do my internship with Petronas. She said that working might be a difficult option since to start working I'll need my last results transcript when I report for duty. As for the internship thingy, I would have to follow the usual procedures. I've actually thought of following the usual procedures and I have actually found the forms that I need to fill in (and I must tell you that they are very well hidden on the Petronas website), but the problem is, I am required to enclose a certification or a testimonial with my university stamp. Petronas said they would not accept any certificate that has not been stamped. My university said, all certificates must be stamped by the company before getting the university's stamp. So it all ends up with the chicken and egg question.

As for the work interview, it will be held from 26 to 29 March. It sounded like Educamp. I'll have to pass an IQ test, a group/teamwork assessment, and finally the individual interview; very much like Educamp. This means that I will not be in class for the whole week. Monday 24 is a holiday, I'll need to get to London on the 25, 26 is the IQ test, 27 or 28 is the interview, and 29 is the annual briefing a.k.a makan besar. So unless I go back on either 27 or 28 (the day I won't be interviewed), I will miss all of my classes that week. But I don't think my will power is that strong to actually go back.

Apa-apa pun I am too young to start working.

Joe Dassin, l'été indien, the first french song that we learned in class. Aihh, memories.

This video reminds me the time when my classmates asked me words in Malay.

How do you say a break in Malay?
