3 Ninjas

Selamat Hari Raya Haji to all. I wanted to go to the mosque, but then, when I woke up, it was already 1030. After takbir and solat sunat, I went out to print my Communication project and make a copy of my friends's Law notes.

Class started at 1330. As usual, no one actually paid attentio to whatever the prof was saying. I think the french students are the most disrespectful of all. They talk when the teacher's explaining in front (and i'm not talking about 2 or 3 guys seating in the last row, but almost half of the class), they chew gum, they do not do homework, and resolve the latter by doing it during another subject. Kalau kat Malaysia, sure dah kena sumpah-sumpah dengan cikgu.

Then my Psychologie project group members and I discussed about our presentation, which is due tomorrow, and we still haven't decide on how to approach the theme that we have chosen. We chose 'travel'. I said we approached in a metaphoric way, as in living is travelling, or we travel when we dream. Alas, my suggestion was rejected instantly. Too poetic they said. What? Anyways, we have decided to present on how's the perception of a traveller whe he sees another culture. We need to explain this from 3 different angles. Sociology, Psychology, and Psychoanalysis. I got the Psychology part. So now I need to study how 'the human spirit' reacts when he sees another culture. I guess it's better than Psychoanalysis, where one needs to study how the concious and inconcious mind react to another culture.

When I got back home after my 3rd trip to Auchan this week (keeps on forgetting to buy stuff), I turned on the TV and to my surprise they're showing 3 Ninjas. Oh that brings back memories. So much memories. I saw it for the first time in 1995 i think, when they showed it on TV3. Come to think about it, that was the year where I had an imaginary friend. I wonder if the movie had something to do with it. Then in 1998 they showed it again on NTV7. They even showed the trilogy in 3 consecutive weeks.

There are 4 3 Ninjas movies, but the last one doesn't have any of the original actors, so it was not that fun. The movies are great. I know they're lame and all, but I find them really cool. Then and now. But all the kids actors have gave up their acting career. I wonder what they're up to now?

Here we can see Rocky and Colt, and a bit of Tum Tum who's hiding behind Colt. Lame names, yeah, I know.

It was after seeing this scene, where the kids seem like having fun jumping on a trampoline, that I feel like having one myself too. But mom didn't let me. Hehehe

I guess it's time to say hello to my old imaginary friend. ;)
