Was sind Sie von Beruf??
Nothing much to do today. In the morning I went to see Mme Fabienne with Toh for the housing contract, then we went to Syazwan's to get a check from him to apply for our métro card. In the afternoon we went to our first GEA meeting in the amphithéâtre. I started a conversation with the guy next to me who told me that his name's Alexandre. We had a brief talk on GEA, the exams and that we are suppose to get at least 10 for our average in order to get through to 2nd year. We had to choose also the languages that we wanted to learn. The first one is of course English. My second language is German. French would be easier but they don't have it since most of the students are french. Toh took Spanish instead. All the other malaysians in Lille take Spanish as their 2nd language. So I can already imagine them mengumpat in Spansih in front of me when the only complete Spanish sentence that i know is Usted Habla Espanol.
Petang gi jogging kat Cité Scientifique (kawasan kat universiti) dengan Syazwan. Ingat nak makan kat restaurant universitaire pasal dier murah jek. So jogging lah dari rumah sampai restaurant. Sesampai je restaurant tu tutup rupanya. Apa lagi kena makan luar aa jawabnya. Last-last gi Flunch. Urghh dah jogging pepenat, makan Flunch. Tak berbaloi langsung
Something that I got from the book that i've been reading for the past few days.
the future is the reflection from the past. It's like looking into a mirror. What you see in front is a reflection of what's behind you and you yourself at that moment. But if you look directly to your back, you can only see what's behind you but not what's in front of you nor you yourself.

nice extraction of the book. if you'd asked me what i can remember from the books i've read lately, it'd be:
- most organism lose their energy through heat and waste excretion. yes, even dungs have energy and nutrients. if not, how could have the dung beetles lived and prosper?
- chlorine, carbon and nitrogen has the covalence of 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
- a suggestion of fitting nuclear bombs on satellites have been made recently. these people hope that as these satellites rotate the earth, these bombs can be dropped exactly anywhere on earth, anytime. well, such suggestions are absurd. as anyone who studies physics would have known, these bombs won't be able to be 'dropped' just like that. in fact, they would actually be circulating the earth for eternity (just like the satellites are).
[well, trials have just ended period]
