10 Months in the Merde

Bak kata Awad ' Selamat Ulang Bulan ke 10!'

Yayy. It's been 10 months. 10 bloody months. 2 more months, and it'll be a year. Yesterday the profs decided to gave us a day off for today because we looked too exhausted to continue. So today i went to centre ville for a quest.

My quest is to find 'A Year in the Merde', a book about an englishman living in France. But all i can find is 'God Save les Francais', the French version. Merde is what we say in english..... shit. So when you're a french and you're suppose to translate the book, you know you have to improvise. That's why they decided not to call it A Year in the Shit, but God Save the French instead. Anyway, i couldn't find it anywhere in the city, neither in the 20 english books section in Ruc, neither in the 15 books section in Fnac, nor the 7 english books section in Forum. All i can find is Dan Brown's other books (Digital Fortress and Deception Point), and another book The Rule of Four. Talking about Dan Brown, do you know that every bookstore in France has a dedicated corner to his 2 famous books Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons? Gila man.

Later in the evening we had dinner together. We ate at Ristorante Romantica. Price; normal (7-9 euros per pizza), food; better than La Gondola. Then we had to go back for a while (solat maghrib), and we went out again to catch a movie. The Ring 2. I hesitated at first, because i know myself. I just don't like horror movies. Which explains why i covered my face with my hands throughout 80% of the movie. But honestly, I find the first one was scarier. Or was it because i watched it when i was in my boarding school. When we got back, i was in dilemma. After watching the Dawn of the Dead, i had to sleep with my TV on, but after watching The Ring 2, I know i had to turn it off. Ahaha, tengah-tengah fikir nak tutup ke nak biar TV on, tertidur pulak. So nak buat macam mana.
