Panggilan cuti, telah tiba lagi

Ich bin in Urlaub!
It's the holidays season once again. And what would I do whenever there's a school break? Travelling of course. This Wednesday I shall be leaving Lille for Château de Chambord, Blois, Poitiers, Bordeaux, Île de Ré, La Rochelle, Carnac (France's equivalent to the English Stonehenge), Quimper, Pointe de Corsen (Westernmost point in France), Brest, Paimpont (King Arthur's Forest), St Malo, le Mont St Michel and Le Havre.

I guess I've earned this break, after this one infernal week. As I said, the first thing I'll do is to recover all those sleeping hours that I've missed within the last couple of weeks. The next thing I'll do is to cut my hair which was due way long ago. A movie marathon is next on the list, although currently there aren't many interesting movies shown in the cinéma, so I guess it wouldn't be a marathon but a short morning walk. After that maybe I'll add a bowling game or a laser gun game onmy list. Then it's off to the Atlantic coast. On the 3rd I'm planning to see the Tintin exhibition at the Centre de Georges Pompidou. After flying high in cloud nine until the 4th of January, I guess I'll have to come back down to earth, to start revising another Law paper which was scheduled on the day the school starts. In that same week I'll be having another German test as well. Not something to look forward to eh?

If given the chance to continue my studies, would I? To continue, or not to continue? That is the question. I have friends who plan to continue after their DUT, so I asked their opinion whether I should continue or not. They say that I should because with what I can do, I should not limit myself to a bachelor's degree. Last year, a professor told me that it would be waste if I do not continue in an Ecole de Commerce. Furthermore, that magazine test I took the other day said the same thing as well. And everyone talks about how easy it is to be recognised and to be offered jobs by huge companies. It's "Finger in ze noze" (from the french doigt dans le nez). These are some of the things that motivate me to continue. On the other hand however is another set of fingers (hahaha, a lame joke that I found on the internet). Okay seriously, on the other hand, when I think of weeks like this one, I'll get discouraged. Of course it's never too old to learn, but I just feel that I'm too old to be going to classes. I need to learn from those people who are doing Medcine. I need to know how do they keep themselves motivated. Please, if any of you are reading this, please send me a message. Help!

In the mean time, I'll just enjoy my two weeks rest.

This shows how stress can make you go nuts.
