This strangeland is getting stranger
It's not unusual to have a professor who's a bit loose in the head. The only thing that would make it unusual if the professor is the most important person in your faculty. And what if you have 2 of them, and they're both No. 1 and 2 of your faculty? Is it work pressure?
Example1.
I have a professor who teaches me 3 subjects this semester. And those 3 subjects are the core subjects. So, I'm having him for 10 hours a week, out of the 38 hours. That's more than a quarter of my classes. And he's also incharged of arranging our timetables, our classes and our presences. So if you're absent a lot, he's the one who'll penalise you. He's more or less the Cikgu Disiplin of our faculty, although that, discipline, we're lack of.
Imagine. One day we had a class with him at 8. At 7.59, we decided to get to class. As soon as we entered the elevator, someone yelled from the back "Oyy, you're late". It was him. A friend of mine answered "Oh no sir. We're taking the elevator, we'll arrive just before you". And could you believe that when the elevetor door opened on the second floor, we saw him standing in front of the elevator, gasping for air, smiling sarcastically and said "What did I tell you, you're late". He actually made the effort of running up the stairs just to prove his point. When he said that, he was,of course, joking, and everyone there had a big laugh, and I'll never see him as the same person again.
Example 2.
The head of our faculty happens to teach us law. Although I hate her lectures in the lecture hall (because her two hour lecture doesn't have any break in between like other lecturers, and she'll always start on the dot and release us on the dot, unlike our economics lecturer who arrives 15 minutes late, then spends the next 15 minutes complaining, and releases us 15 minutes earlier), I do like her classes because she explains everything thouroughly.
Although she's not as quirky as the professor stated above, she always like to give her comments under her breath (indescreetly enough to be heard) after saying some things. For example "The law was renewed and reformed because of so and so reason" and the she'll continue under her breath something like "and it's a ridiculous reason", or "yeah right". And today she actually melatah. She was explaining somethings, while walking between tables and she tripped on a student's bag, and she blurted out "Oh my god, are you plotting to kill me today?". Ahaha. Although that might not seem funny to you here, it was when it happened
