Un petit ami
Got my 'A year in the merde' from amazon.fr yesterday. Read a third already by this morning. Great book. Quite true as well. The writer writes this book with his own charm. Some quotes from the book.

Well, it's worth the wait and my 10 euros.
Last night we watched 'Sepet'. The highly publiscized malay(sian) movie among the malaysian students in france. Well, it is different from the other malaysian movies. I'm sick of seeing Erra Fazira, Awie, Jalalludin Hassan and Rosyam Nor in almost every malay movies. I miss the old faces like Kartina Aziz, Khatijah Tan, Nancy Foo and many others. This is one of the reason why i like this movie. It has Harith Iskandar, Adibah Noor (although she's a singer) and my favourite, Ida Nerina. I must admit that she's one of the best if she's not the best malay actress.
I was quite surprised to see some unexpected scenes. Maybe, since it was a downloaded version and not the ones that are shown in the cinema, we were able to watch the uncut version. But like the previous Yasmin Ahmad's movie (Rabun), maybe the National Censory Board just 'tutup sebelah mata' and let it be, to show that 'industri filem kita sudah matang'.
Some of the scenes i like:
1) When Ida Nerina and Harith Iskandar danced to a siamese tune
2) When all four of them where brushing each others' hair on the stairs
3) When they were playing Scrabble and Harith produced the word MILF
4) When Orked was walking to Yam's room, Ida Nerina was sleeping in a different posture, and when Orked came back, she was sleeping in another. Both are ugly.

Tapi ending paling menikam jiwa raga, stgh org kata ending la spoilerkan citer ni (selain adegen Leonardo DiCaprio celup oleh Suhaimi tu). Aku dah lebih 10 kali cuba tgk balik n fahami ending, banyak idea terlintas
1. Jason dah mati, roh je yang bercakap.
2. Jason merangkak slow slow pi angkat 3210 tu. (terbukti 3210 tahan lasak, masih berbunyi walaupun hentakan kuat, bangga lak sbb masa form 5 dulu guna 3210 gak)
3. Org lain angkat telefon dan orang lain jawapkan.
4. Orked tgh dlm voicemail.. tunggu skit lagi.. *beep, sila tinggalkan pesanan suara*.. kalau betul la, for sure semua penonton akan gelak giler giler.. sambil Orked berkata 'Sial punya Jason'.
Oublie ton chagrin, surtout ne crains rien.
