Colmar Bandar Raya Bersejarah

IF
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream -- and not make dreams your master;
If you can think -- and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them:"Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings -- nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run --
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And -- which is more -- you'll be a Man, my son!
Rudyard Kipling

Rudyard Kipling. A great name in english poetry. I like his writings especially 'If' and 'The Thousandth Man'. He's english but he spent most of his life in India. So if you happen to read his writings you would find poems that talks about Shiva, Maharajah etc.

Yesterday i spent half a day finding a way to put background music to my blog. Alas, it didn't work. Irda helped me a lot, but i can only put songs that's provided by certain sites. So the songs that i really wanted was not available. Anyway thanks Irda! If you wanna surf through her page, feel free to click on http://freakyrda.blogspot.com.

Yes, no, maybe
I don't know
Could you repeat the question
You're not the boss of me now
And you're not so big
Life is unfair...
malcolm in the middle

I really missed Malcolm in the Middle and the Simpsons. I tried to download a season of Malcolm and the Simpsons, but it's still incomplete. So a Malcolm or Simpson marathon would have to wait.

E' morto il Papa. ~ Repubblica
The pope died on saturday at 9.37 pm. What was i doing at that time... oh yeah, watching Lizzie McGuire the movie. Heh, it was one heck of a stupid disney movie. Pope John Paul II's real name is Carlos Wojtyla (wo-ih-ti-la). My electricity teacher's name is Stephen Wojdyla (wo-ih-di-la). Sedara-mara ke ni? In french John Paul is Jean Paul, Giovanni Paolo in italian and Johannes Paulus in german i think or is it in polish. So kalau kat malaysia ape? Yahya Fadhil ke? Jean Paul 2 is the only non italian pope ever in catholic's history. But i salute him for his capabilty to speak english, polish, italian, and french fluently. And who knows he could speak other languages too. So where could the next pope come from? Italy? Just to calm down the heat of a non Italian pope. Or could it be one of the top names like the Cardinal from Barcelona or Buenos Aires? Or maybe, no one could've thunk it, the Cardinal from KL?

Oh ye, lepas Pope mati hari sabtu tu, tetiba Colmar yang selalunya lengang kalau ahad, ramai pulak orang. Sure dalam ramai-ramai tu ada yang baru first time gi church.

I'm sure you guys have always wonder how big is colmar. Well, for those Subang Jayaians, the city centre would by as big as let's say a quarter of SS 15, and if you add the suburbs (yes, suburbs), you'll have something as big as Subang Jaya (not usj, only the SS) plus USJ 2 and 3. For Shah Alamites, it would be as big as Shah Alam, this side of the Federal Highway ( The mosque's side), but only the real Shah Alam, not the Seksyen U whatever. Seksyen 1 to 10 or something. The city center would be as big as those vacant lots that you find near to the Bangunan UMNO. But of course, instead of vacant lots, you have old cardboard-like buildings. Pourtant, there are more than 60,000 Colmariens here, (New York=New Yorkers, London=Londoners, Colmar=Colmariens)

Oh yeah, the other day, i took a bus from the halal boucherie back home. And i just found out that they have a huge vineyard, surrounded by houses. No wonder i've never seen them. Pandai betul orang french sorok vineyard.
